Good day everyone welcome to another Makita video here on cue the titles Tools and Stuff good day guys this video is a Little bit different because today I Want to know what you guys want Makita Want to know what you guys want so I Want you to put down in the comments What tools you want to see from Makita In the future 40 volt tools 18vt tools 12vt whatever you want stick them down There I know a lot of you want a 40 volt One of these and a lot of you want a 40 Volt or 80 volt table saw and belt Sanders/ in router whatever it is stick It all down there installation driver I'd like to see an installation driver Also any improvements that you want to See on current tools such as say the Tracks saw it's a good tracks saw but There's a lot of improvements have been Made to track SS in recent years and so It seems Mak falling behind a bit maybe Maybe they need to Jazz that up add a Few things maybe one of these as well on The 40 volt system with a a 40 volt Impact with a ring light would be Awesome cuz this is a a really Well-designed impact driver a 40 volt One of those would be nice to see all That sort of stuff stick it down there Try and be civil okay Mak are going to Read these things and speaking of Wanting a multi-tool when are they going

To release a 40 volt Multi-tool surely it will happen in the Not too distant future hopefully there Has been lots of patents for multi-tools I'll stick a couple of them up on the Side here they've done them showing Thinner Parts here because this is this Is a very good multi-tool but it is very Fat here it is fatter than any other Multitool I've used uh and a lot of People also don't like the way the Locking mechanism Works they're working On that too starlock all that sort of Stuff so there there's ones with the Lever going over the top like that Rather than out the side like this and There's lots of different ideas and I'm Guessing they wanted to maybe they got a Few too many complaints for them to want To just whack a 40 volt battery on this They wanted to get it right for the 40 Volt do it once do it right sort of Thing um even though Mako like pumping Out lots of the same sort of tools over And over again every time they think of A new little thing to add it seems but What do you want to see on a 40 volt Multi-tool stick it down in the comments And how far away is it well I've been Wanting to try something out for a Little while uh I kind of don't like the Idea of AI all that much but how about We ask chat GPT when a 40 volt multitool Is coming out I've never used it before

I just downloaded it today or signed up For it today should I say and so I want To see just how clever it is or isn't And whether it is any good at predicting The future of of Makita so let's go have A look I'll Chuck the chat GPT screen up Here now and we'll ask some questions eh So let's start Easy as my last update was January 2022 See I'm not too good at jumping on Technology when it first comes out I Sort of fight it a bit and the last Update was over two years ago then what Use is this thing there hasn't been any In a geez I'm going to have to um this Is the free chat GPT 3.5 um I think I'm going to have to get The four I know you've got to pay for That so 1 Minute okay I have forked over $23 and Now I have chat gp4 for 4 weeks so Better make the most of it anyway let's Start with the same question Again yes Makita has already introduced A 40 volt multi-tool to their product Lineup the Makita ux1 gz w w w w w stop You're right there so yeah she thinks That we're talking about outdoor power Equipment no no no no no no let's try This from a slightly different Angle will Makita ever make a 40 volt Multitool like the 18vt DTM 52 let's see what she comes up with as Of the latest information available

Will she work it [Laughter] Out this is a Makita 40 volt MAX xgt Cordless jigsaw it's part of makita's Xgt range which is a new system with Tools that offer high output durability And fast charge times the tool in the Image has a characteristic Makita teal Color The xgt Branding and a 5.0 hour Battery indicating the battery's Capacity this jigsaw would typically be Used for cutting intricate shapes and Curves in wood metal or other materials That's pretty good that's all pretty Good And yeah but it is a tire inflator it's Pretty impressive that she can read the Battery and she knows what a jigsaw does And everything but it's clearly a tire Inflator wonder what happens if I put The jigsa up oh wait on this will be Interesting first see if she can work Out what four tire inflators are these Are Makita cordless tools including what Appear to be a reciprocating saw a Hammer drill driver an impact driver and A jigsaw they are part of the Makita 18vt lxt 40 volt MAX xgt cordless tool Lineups each tool is designed for a Specific set of tasks in woodworking Construction or demolition the first Three tools from the left are equipped With 18vt lxt batteries tool on the far Right is equipped with a 40 volt Max xgt

Battery the presence of both lxt and xgt Tools reflects the range and versatility Of makita's cordless offerings except You didn't make out that the one on the Left is actually a 12v cxt Tool oh dear oh well I'm going to have To give that a thumbs Down not factually correct anyway we Were going to do a picture of a jigsaw Oh forget the jigsaw this will be Funnier wonder if she'll work out what This Is H think this might be a bit tricky for Her oh No this tool is a Maka cordless backpack Vacuum cleaner from let me stop you Right there so clearly she can't tell a Vacuum cleaner from a water blaster dear Oh dear who was worried about artificial Intelligence taking over the World this is actually quite fun Now Oh she's got one Right well done oh she even knows that It takes starlock Max except it says the Presence of a starlock Max indicates That it is compatible with a wide range Of high performance accessories although This is not a starlock blade look it's Got an adapter on it Tricor she knows That BL means brushless so that's good Anyway is this getting too long let's Find
